The Qualeos dashboard: counters of completed, started, pending and cancelled actions, a radar chart of actions by progress, a donut of issues by nature and a pie of customer complaints by status. The user's name and the company logo are blurred.

Qualeos gives quality managers a single place for everything their management system needs: context and strategy, processes, risks, environmental aspects, audits, meetings, training and a consolidated action plan, with dashboards on top. I built it in my first job as a developer.

The problem

[01]

Companies certified for quality, safety or the environment run their management system on spreadsheets, Word documents and shared folders. Risks live in one file, audit reports in another and action plans in a third, so preparing for an audit means days of gathering and nobody sees at a glance what is late.

What I built

[02]

Qualeos follows the way quality managers already work and are audited. Each part of the system, from the organisation's context and processes to risks, audits and training, has its own module with structured, coded records. Anything that needs fixing, a complaint, a non-conforming product, a risk or an audit finding, becomes an action in one consolidated plan, and the dashboard shows where things stand.

The result

  • 20+Modules, from strategy to audits
  • 3Management systems: quality, safety, environment
  • 1Consolidated action plan fed by every module

  • [01]Risks placed on the map by severity and frequency.

  • [02]One action plan, fed by complaints, non-conformities and risks.

  • [03]Health and safety risks, scored and prioritised.

  • [04]The environmental analysis, aspect by aspect.

  • [05]The org chart, from departments to services.

  • [06]The process map: management, core and support processes.

Features

What it does

I can model a whole professional domain in software: a large business application with a Django REST API, a PostgreSQL database and a React front end, used by companies to run their certification work.

[01]

The whole management system

Context and issues, interested parties, strategy, commitments and policy, scope, the process map and the org chart, all in one place and kept up to date.

[02]

Risks you can see

Risks and opportunities, health and safety risks and environmental aspects, each scored by severity, frequency and level of control, then placed on a colour-coded risk map.

[03]

One action plan

Customer complaints, non-conforming products, risks, opportunities and audit findings all open actions in a single consolidated plan, filtered by source and tracked to completion.

[04]

Audits and meetings

Internal and external auditors, the yearly audit programme, planning and reports, plus management meetings planned and recorded.

[05]

People and equipment

Training bodies, the training plan and its summary, occupational doctors and medical visits, and measuring equipment with its verification and calibration dates.

[06]

Made for the team

Users with permissions per module, several organisations under one account, notifications, a built-in chat, and tables you can search, filter and export.
